These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of websites, applications, evaluations, reports, software, and services provided by SportLens Technologies (“SportLens,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By using SportLens, you agree to these Terms.
1. SportLens Services
SportLens provides football performance intelligence tools and services that may include:
- Athlete evaluations
- Performance reporting
- Development information
- Athlete Records
- Football Resume™ presentations
- Evaluation Engine features
- Development Engine™ features
- Super Football Brain™ functionality
- Role-specific portal experiences
- Educational and football resources
Some features shown or described on our website may be under development and may not yet be available.
2. SportLens Supports — It Does Not Replace — Football Judgment
SportLens provides information intended to support athletes, families, coaches, evaluators, schools, and programs.
SportLens does not replace:
- Coaching judgment
- Medical advice
- Athletic training
- School policies
- Recruiting decisions
- Scholarship decisions
- Team selection
- Position decisions
- Playing-time decisions
Users remain responsible for their own decisions.
3. No Guaranteed Athletic Outcome
SportLens does not guarantee:
- Playing time
- Team selection
- Varsity placement
- Position assignment
- Recruiting interest
- College admission
- Athletic scholarships
- Offers
- Performance improvement
- Injury prevention
- Professional athletic opportunities
Evaluation results reflect available information and the conditions under which an evaluation occurred.
4. Accounts
Certain SportLens features may require an account.
Users are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information
- Protecting account credentials
- Activities conducted through their accounts
- Promptly notifying SportLens of suspected unauthorized access
SportLens may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create security, legal, or operational risk.
5. Minors
Athletes under the age of majority may require participation or authorization by a parent, guardian, school, or authorized organization.
SportLens may require parental or guardian consent before allowing certain features or collecting certain information from minors.
Users may not falsely represent their age or authority to provide information about another person.
6. User Content
Users may provide information such as:
- Video
- Photos
- Reports
- Evaluation information
- Coaching materials
- Program information
- Athlete information
- Football documents
Users retain ownership of their underlying content unless otherwise agreed.
By submitting content, users grant SportLens the rights reasonably necessary to process that content for the requested SportLens services.
Users represent that they have the authority and permissions necessary to provide submitted content.
7. SportLens Intellectual Property
SportLens owns or licenses its:
- Trademarks
- Logos
- Website designs
- Software
- Evaluation frameworks
- Scoring systems
- Reports
- Graphics
- Content
- Databases
- Methodologies
- Product names
- Super Football Brain™
- Development Engine™
- Football Resume™
- related proprietary materials
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of SportLens intellectual property to users.
8. Acceptable Use
Users may not:
- Access SportLens unlawfully
- Attempt unauthorized access
- Circumvent security
- Scrape or systematically copy proprietary data
- Reverse engineer proprietary systems except where law expressly permits
- Upload malicious code
- Impersonate another person
- Submit information without appropriate authority
- Harass or harm other users
- Use SportLens to exploit minors
- Misrepresent SportLens reports
- Alter reports to falsely represent SportLens findings
- Use SportLens intellectual property without authorization
9. Evaluations and Reports
SportLens evaluations and reports may involve human observation, structured scoring, software-assisted analysis, or combinations of these methods.
Evaluation information reflects the evidence available at the time.
Performance may change over time.
SportLens does not warrant that any evaluation is a complete representation of an athlete’s ability, future performance, or potential.
10. Automated Analysis
Certain SportLens services may use automated or AI-assisted tools.
Automated outputs may contain errors or limitations.
They should be reviewed in appropriate football context and should not be treated as the sole basis for significant decisions about an athlete.
11. Third-Party Services
SportLens may integrate or link to third-party services.
We are not responsible for third-party services, availability, content, privacy practices, or performance.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SportLens services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
SportLens makes no guarantee that:
- Services will always be available
- Information will always be error-free
- Every evaluation will be complete
- Every development recommendation will produce a particular outcome
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SportLens Technologies and its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of SportLens.
This includes losses relating to athletic opportunities, recruiting, scholarships, playing time, team selection, performance outcomes, or decisions made by third parties.
Any limitations are subject to rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
14. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, users agree to indemnify and hold SportLens harmless from claims arising from:
- Misuse of SportLens
- Unauthorized submission of third-party information
- Violation of these Terms
- Violation of another person’s rights
- User-provided content
15. Changes to SportLens
SportLens may modify, add, discontinue, or improve features over time.
Product names, functionality, availability, and access may change as the platform evolves.
16. Termination
SportLens may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary for:
- Legal compliance
- Security
- Fraud prevention
- Misuse
- Violations of these Terms
- Protection of athletes or other users
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
18. Changes to These Terms
SportLens may update these Terms as products, laws, and business practices evolve.
Continued use after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance where legally permitted.
